CC2640R2F: CC2640R2 LaunchPad Project Zero running error

Part Number: CC2640R2F

Hi Team,

Please help me answer the follow question, thank you so much.

When I run Project Zero of "CC2640R2 LaunchPad", an error message is displayed and running fails. I have reconnected the device, but the situation does not change.

The attached is the screen shot of the error message

Best Regards,

Tom.Liu

  • I suggest you to install CCS Desktop version and install latest CC2640R2F SDK to import ProjectZero to test it.

  • Hi Chen

The problem was resolved after using CCS Desktop version.

But when I started PuTTy and pressed the reset button, an error occurred.

The attached is the screenshot of the PuTTy and CCS.

Would you help me to resolve this?

    Best Regards,

    Tom.Liu

  • What is the baudrate you use on Putty? Is it 115200?

  • Hi Chen,

It was "9600". After changing to "115200", logs are now output to Putty each time the Reset button is pressed. However, when I pressed the device's Reset button, the phenomenon that an error was output to the CCS Console remained. I reset the device many times, but the situation is not improved.

The error message is as follows.

Cortex_M3_0: Error: (Error -1170 @ 0x0) Unable to access the DAP. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 8.1.0.00007)

Cortex_M3_0: Unable to determine target status after 20 attempts

Cortex_M3_0: Failed to remove the debug state from the target before disconnecting. There may still be breakpoint op-codes embedded in program memory. It is recommended that you reset the emulator before you connect and reload your program before you continue debugging

    Best Regards,

    Tom.Liu

  • When you press reset button, it's normal to see JTAG disconnected.
