LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 is CE certified. You will find the CE Declaration of Conformity on this page: http://www.ti.com/tool/launchxl-cc2640r2

We have also ensured that the LaunchPad passes FCC requirements through internal testing.

Do you know if TI has any plan to apply for technical certification of LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 in Japan?

Hi Tom,

There is no plan to do official certification of the EVM for Japan. We have done internal measurements to ensure that the device operates within Arib T-66 limits though.

As with any regulatory certification, our recommendation is to seek guidance from an accredited test house. Any problem you may encounter along the way can be addressed here on the forum.
