LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2: BLE 5.0 Host Stack

Is there a host stack available for the LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 to support BLE 5.0 with the BLE Device Monitor GUI? The cc2640r2lp_host_test.hex image supplied with BLE Device Monitor will not successfully find our 5.0 device on scan.

Hi Steve,

I am not certain I understand, the ble5stack components of the CC2640R2 SDK supports BT5.0. What SDK version are you using and have you tried with BTool?

Hi Joakim,

Using BTool we are able to scan and connect to our device - thank you.

Ideally for development we need a host/client that can make the connection to our device then output the BT data on the serial port for analysis/logging using Hterm or similar. Is there an available option with any of the TI dev kits that would support this?

Hi Steve,

I understand your request although unfortunately we do not have such tool. I suggest you use the UART driver to create that interface yourself.
