Hello,

I am working on new bluetooth project and I need suggestion in order to choose a right bluetooth module for my application.

Requirements for the Bluetooth module

1. Dual mode

2. Compatible for both IOS and Android

3. Range - at least 50m

4. It would be good if it has inbuilt microcontroller

5. Compatible for AT commands

6. Application - saved data transfer (text, time, data)

Kalpana,

For product longevity, the CC2564C is the best dual-mode Bluetooth option. It is an active part.

Do this module has an inbuilt micocontroller? I didn't get clear information about the microcontroller because I also need a decice with inbuilt microcontroller.

Kalpana,

The TI dual-mode Bluetooth controller do not have a built in microcontroller of application code. These are HCI based controller that require an external host microcontroller that runs the Bluetooth stack and Application. For more details, please refer to the device datasheet.
