CC2564MODA: Questions for GATT MTU

Hi,

I have questions from my customer for GATT MTU.
For below questions, CC2564MODA + Tiva is in mind.

Q1) What is the default MTU and maximum supported MTU by TI BLE software?

Q2) Suppose MTU size is changed on-the-fly, the change is made by command from BLE master side?
And the MTU size must be supported both master and slave, correct?

Q3) What is dominant factor(s) to determine MTU is the system?
BLE module, MCU capability, BLE version, etc.?

Q4) Do we know GATT MTU supported by major smartphone application (Android/iOS)?

Q5) If answer to Q4 is “NO”, we do not know which MTU size should be used for communication.
In such case, the software should be made so that Characteristics size can be variable?

    23 bytesaccording to BT spec. One exception is data extension feature that is not supported on this device

    We don't support more than 23 bytes MTU . the negotiation of the MTU size is done during connection procedures. Pl refer to the BT core spec for further details.

    Default 23 bytes MTU should be supported by all devices with GATT profile.
