Ready to connect to an external Bluetooth module using Bluetooth in the DLP NIRscan Nano, such as the CC2564 module and HC-08 . How should the HC-08 be paired successfully with the CC2564? Thank you!

Hi,
Thank you for your post and interest in DLP products! Were you able to power on the bluetooth circuits for this EVM? The instructions for powering the bluetooth circuit can be found on page 25 on the DLP NIRscan Nano EVM.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I can turn on the bluetooth of the product. What I want to do now is to connect and communicate with the bluetooth of the product with an external microcontroller.
Hi,
To confirm, you are able to view the DLPNIR Nano EVM as a discover-able item when searching for Bluetooth devices. What you are looking to do now is design a board that can interface with the DLPNIR Nano EVM, correct? Are you looking to use the CC2564 module on your new board to interface with the DLPNIR Nano EVM?
Thanks,
Brandon
yes,I can search the DLPNIR Nano EVM by app, not the NIRScan Nano app. I want to use the CC2540 module on my new board to interface with the DLPNIR Nano EVM.
Hi,
Thank you for confirming that you can search the EVM. In order to communicate with the EVM over bluetooth from your new board, please review appendix J on the DLP NIRscan Nano EVM User's Guide (link: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/dlpu030g/dlpu030g.pdfcommunicate with the EVM over bluetooth.
Thanks,
Brandon
