CC2640R2F: the device is out of control after run a while

Hi Sir,

For vertify our product based on CC2640R2F stability, we tested it for a long time. They sent broadcast info (500ms) in 2 sec period. There are some device is out of control.The 24Mhz crystal oscillator output signal persistently. They cann't transfer to standby mode. And the watchdog dose not work this time. The device is completely out of work. So how can we solve the problem. We can not add other hardware watchdog in our application. Would you pls give me some recommendation on it?

Also, the WDT is not available in standby mode.

Hi FI,

The issue occurs again. We have tracked it, the sys enter into ti_sysbios_hal_Hwi_HwiProxy_Object_delete_S and can not quit. when sys was out of control.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. Are you using example from the BLE SDK?

Please try to use PacketTx and packetRX examples from the simplelink SDK to see if radio is working at all.

Hi Sara,

All BLE-Stack example projects use a heap called the ICall heap. To malloc/free from this heap, use ICall_malloc. You can read more about the heap here:
