LAUNCHXL-CC2650: Simple Eddystone project not working as expected

When i go in debug mode, my app seems to be stuck in "ICall_registerApp" function forever.

Which SDK version are you building with? Did you make sure to flash the stack image first and then the app?

Yes i flashed the stack image first and then the app.

i have the following ti rtos version installed :

tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_21_01_08

I have the following ble sdk version installed:

ble_sdk_2_02_01_18

ble_sdk_2_02_02_25

xdc tools version : 

xdctools_3_32_00_06_core

I tried running with both versions ble sdk but i got no results.

infact, i am not able to see any results on ble scanner for all of the examples from that github repository. When I run the examples provided in ble-sdk, like simple_peripheral, simple_broadcaster, etc. I am able to see the device in ble scanner. so I think that the device is fine. 

what can be the issue here?

No I haven't made any custom changes. Just try to ran the example project as it is.

Would you be willing to migrate to CC2640R2 and use the SDK examples instead?

I cant migrate, need to buy a new board again. 

These examples are not compatible for cc2650? as per documentation they should be.

anyway i can run them on cc2650?

It should work on CC2650, and is has for multiple other customers. So you must be doing something wrong in how you flash/configure the device, since is get stuck in ICall_registerApp.

I have attached the debugger screenshot, my program is getting blocked on icall_entry task, even thought i am uploading stack image before app. Any idea how to solve this issue?

I think I made that example program to work using CC2650 Launchpad. Anyway try this below. It does not function 100% as a BLE Eddystone Beacon. The setting of TX Power through HCI Command does not work.

the project in above link was made using old ble sdk, the newer sdk has a different folder structure, so compiler is unable to find files and throwing too many errors. Can you please tell me what steps you followed to make "https://github.com/ti-simplelink/ble_examples/tree/ble_examples-2.2" work on your cc2650 launchapd?

I am very frustrated! tried many things but nothing seems to work. Tried both on ccs and iar.
