Hi.

i'm using a example simple_perhiperal in cc13x2 cc26x2 sdk .

i tried to set long range mode .and then ..in my smart phone , i scanned (App was BLE scanner ) but i didn't get distance that i wanted to do ...( about 20M )

So.. i want to check exact setting ways .. or exampl codes .

please answer me .. thank you for reading.

Hi,

Are you certain that the smartphone supports Coded PHY?

Sniffing the communication could rule out Coded PHY. Would you be able to do that?

hm .. i think that it is supported on smart phone..

Okay, i've never used that tool but just look for usage ..

so , if i use this tool, can i measure distance ?

Hi Sang,

The protocol sniffer will allow you to see if Coded PHY is actually used or if the link defaults back to 1M. Your will also be able to get RSSI readings. If you post the log here, we can help you review it.
