CC2640R2F: Is the radio in the CC2640R2F different from the CC2640 radio?

Hello,

   I have a client with a device in production that uses the CC2640. We are looking to change to the CC2640R2F. Is the radio in the two chips the same, or if not what do we need to change? When we change to the CC2640R2F can we just replace the processor and leave the RF signal chain the same? In this case the CC2640 is feeding a CC2590 PA/LNA which then goes through a balun to a chip antenna.

Also, for FCC radiated emissions do we need to do any re-testing when making this change?
