Could it be that I'm not allowed to add the: "cc26x2_app_oad_agama.cmd" to the project as a file and then link it? I get no issues with the compiler, but it still will not run...

If I try to link it, without importing it into the project folder I get the error message: "#10099-D program will not fit into available memory.  placement with alignment fails for section "GROUP_1" size 0x8d .  Available memory ranges:".

The standard multi_role project (before adding OAD) from the same SDK, has the "cc13x2_cc26x2_app.cmd" added to the project as a file and then links it, while simple_peripheral_oad_offchip_app does not have "cc13x2_cc26x2_app.cmd" inside the project as a file, it just has a "link" to the example folder of the SDK where its stored.

At the moment I'm more than sure that the Task 3 of the documentation http://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?node=AIixxGE2y6tnPJ7cm65SFQ__pTTHBmu__LATEST is wrong / has errors. I have tried everything, multiple times the last days. I'm testing with fresh out of the SDK unmodified projects.

Note: multi_role has app and stack combined.

It sounds strange that you're not able to use the cmd file and that you're getting program will not fit into available memory. Are you using standard multi role project or did you add any code? (Add drivers etc?)

Whether the cmd file is added directly in the project or linked with the Project -> Properties -> ARM Linker -> Flags cmd_file= should not matter, as long as you only have one cmd file..

thank you very much for your support, I'm actually testing it with a unmodified multi_role project (fresh out of the "box"). But even if I add the cmd via the ARM-Linker, I still have the same problem.

I am not able to reproduce what you are describing. Also, when I build the multi role + oad project and check the Memory view, I can see that there is considerable free space on the device. I don't understand why you are getting the "Could not fit into available memory" error.

Maybe you made a code change in a different file without noticing that is causing the error? Can you try re-installing the SDK? (Alternatively try with the newest release, SimpleLink CC13x2/CC26x2 3.30 SDK)
