Hi ALL,

Please tell us about CC2650MODA and Bluetooth Developers Studio.

I have been asked by a customer about the relationship between BLE-Stack v2.2.3 and Bluetooth Developers Studio.

My recognition is that BDS (Bluetooth Developers Studio) has already been abolished and is not published by Bluetooth SIG.

On the other hand, the plug-in for BDS was published at the following URL.

If customers have BDS executables, can they use BDS with CC2650MODA by incorporating TI-BDS-PLUGIN 1.0.8?

Also, why is there no data related to BLE-Stack v2.2.x and BDS in Resource Explorer of TI Cloud Tools?

Unfortunately we no longer actively support BDS and that link is stale and no longer supported. Thank you for your quick reply.

I understand the situation of BDS.

The Link(SimpleLink Academy) that was introduced was from the SDK for CC2640R2.

Can this document be considered for customers considering CC2650?

Takashi-san,

That tool is relatively good for the CC2640/BLE2.2.x stacks. The GATT layer and what not has not changed significantly between CC2640 and CC2640R2. It may not not get you 100% the way there, but it will get you most of the way there.
