I am new to TI LaunchPad coding/debug. I have LauchXL-CC2640R2, when I tried to build and debug Project_zero example from TI resource explorer, I get following error:

Those results from a desktop client (CCS 9.1.0). Also, I have tested the cloud version, which gave me the same errors!

Try to use Flash Programmer 2 to do mass erase to your CC2640R2 and test again.

Hi YK Chen,

It does not give me an error after mass erases, but I need to update the firmware in use Flash programmer each time. Also, I need to update again after mass erases in CCS. Do I need to erase each time before debugging/loading the program?

Another Question:

How to confirm if the program is successfully flashed into the launchpad?

1. No, you don’t need to erase each time before debugging/loading the program.

2. We usually generate firmware in hex or bin format and use Flash Programmer or Uniflash to download and verify if the firmware is successfully downloaded into chip.

If I don't erase, then I got the same error after debugging/loading two to three times!

Is it possible that you overwrite serial boot loader settings in CCFG when you debugging/loading application into your chip?
