Compiler/CC2642R: Hwi Hard Fault Exception issue in TI RTOS Project.

Hi Team,

We are facing the Run time issue with TI_RTOS, when we are running the code , it automatically going Hwi Hard Fault Exception. In call stack also not showing any detailed path.

Could any one help us on this issue. We need more debug techniques and analysis on this issue, means like due to which task it's happening and what is root cause for this, In IAR where we need to check this root cause file path.

Any standard procedure to debug this type of TI_RTOS Related issues by using IAR workbench.

Sorry, this did not get moved over properly.

Take a look at https://training.ti.com/debugging-common-application-issues-ti-rtos. It covers exception handling. It's focused on CCS, but ROV works in IAR also.

Please note you may have to enable some kernel features in your .cfg. The CC26xx device has the kernel in the ROM. So to enable certain kernel features, you may have to move it to the flash (i.e. comment out the ROM lines in the .cfg).

I would definitely enable the kernel asserts in the .cfg file. You might find the root case very quickly.
