CCS/LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: Support for WiFi (Need to Wirelessly Transmit AoA Data)

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello,

We're trying to see if we can wirelessly transmit the result AoA data from the rtls_master and rtls_passive into a web-server.

I have a couple of questions:

  1. Does the CC26X2R1 board support on-board Wi-Fi?
  2. If not, is there a recommended development board that has on-board WiFi AND supports the RTLS projects (rtls_master, rtls_passive, and rtls_slave)?
  3. Would it even be possible to bypass the PC/Central Node so that the data can just be sent to a server for processing in real-time?

Thank you,

Stefano

The CC26X2R1 supports many wireless protocols, unfortunately WiFi is not one of them.

No, there is not. You would have to consider a two chip solution. I.e. CC26x2 + CC32xx
