CC2640R2F: build error

I see you are using SDK 2.30 which is obsolete. I would suggest you to use latest SDK 3.20.

yes I am trying using latest, but I only find aoa_sender sample in 2.30, that is why I am trying 2.30, any suggestions? in any other newer sdk can I find aoa_sender sample?

The AOA related examples are renamed to rtls_master/rtls_passive/rtls_slave which can be found under blestack folder in latest SDK 3.20.

can I run it for this board?

or this sample needs some other special hardware to run & test?

To run AOA examples, you will need three LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2F or LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 and one BOOSTXL-AOA.

can I start from the sample, move to accomplish this mission: locate (direction, distance) a user,  whom with a mobile phone running my app in his pocket?

or it can only locate a ble device with special low level ble program?
