Hi Team,

   My customer want to know if we have any rules when assigning OUI for CC2640R2FRGZR devices. I checked from below link,

   

I find many OUI Prefix for Texas Instruments and seems no rules among them.

1. Does that means my customer need to make a long look up table including all the OUIs to identify the vendor? Or do you have simpler ways to identify a TI-made BLE device?

2. I think many of the OUIs are for CC2541, so how about CC2640R2FRGZR?

    Hi Holly,

    As far as I know, TI has multiple sets of IEEE addresses with running enumeration. The easiest way to identify a TI device is not through assigned IEEE address look-up but through LL_Version_Ind packet and the field CompID.
