CC2650MODA: disable the frequency hopping for EMS test

Hello,

I received a request from my manager which is conducting EMC tests.

I was asked to disable the frequency hopping and create 2 firmwares, one is able to connect and keep only to the maximum channel and the other connect and keep only to the minimum channel.

Can you help me to disable the frequency hopping in the stack and select the channel in the connection state (not advertising state)?.

Hi Vincent,

We do not support maintaining a connection on only one channel. I would recommend simply using SmartRF Studio to transmit packets between two boards instead.

Hello Fredrick,

The CC2650MODA is implemented in a custom made PCB. Can we program this board to transmit packets on only one channel with SmartRF? Can you provide a guide for us to implement this please?

Yes. SmartRF Studio is really self-explanatory. It also has very good documentation in the help-menu.
