WL1837MOD: BLE Data length extension support on Ti Wilink 8 module

I would like to know if WL1837MOD supports data length extenstion feature on bluetooth low energy part.

Since its 4.2 I am guessing it could support but I dont see it specified any where.

I am using Bluez stack on Linux. I would like to know if the data length extention feature is enabled by defautl in the chip or do I need to configure / send some specific commands from bluez.

If yes what needs to be done from Bluez point of you. (or more generic what needs to be done from HCI layer to enable data length extension.)
