CC2564: Bluetooth master (A2DP)/slave(HID) at same time

Can the CC2564 be a Bluetooth slave to a call phone (streaming audio using A2DP) and a Bluetooth HID master to another CC2564 (not BLE) so that the external slave CC2564 can send volume control.

Basically what we want to do is receive streaming audio from the phone and allow another Bluetooth device, using HID, to adjust the volume/streaming audio just as the phone can.

Yes, this is possible. I do not see any problem with this use-case.

We need a kit to develop on is the

BT-MSPAUDSINK

the best one for this applications?

Also we want to go with a module and just place that on our substrate, can you provide a TI part number?

Hi Duane,

The BT-MSPAUDSINK reference design is several years old. I would recommend looking into the CC2564CMSP432BTBLESW SDK and the hardware supported by the sample applications in this SDK for evaluation.
