CC2564C: PCM/UART data waveform test method

Part Number: CC2564C

Hi

we are now testing a product with cc2564c module, during the test process, we find the following two question need to be solved:

1.when cc2564c work with audio part,  we find the PCM waveform is abnormal sometimes, for further details, please see the following picture. As the picture description, the normally failing edge is about 3ns, but when it is abnormal, it is nearly 1.3us. Could you please tell me what's wrong with this abnormal phenomena.   (Remake: there is no any caps on PCM trace.)

2.how could we trigger the HCI_CTS signal, we need to test the UART timing characteristic to confirm if it match to the spec.

Which one of the PCM lines is showing this behavior? Have you verified the device that is connected to the CC2564C over PCM interface? This remote device may be failing as well.

The HCI_CTS signal is an input for CC2564C. Please check the implementation on the host processor/micro-controller side to trigger this signal.

  • Sorry, i forget to added the schematic. please see the following attachment.

1.PCM lines connect to the CPU TDM port directly. when CC2564C worked, i can hear the voice from remote device though BT headset, if it means PCM interface worked?

2.we can catch the HCI_RTS signal from CC2564C to CPU, it means CC2564C want to communicate with CPU,right? But the HCI_CTS signal allow perform as low level, if it means CPU agree to communication this time? So if i want to change the HCI_CTS signal, it due to CPU work condition, right?

  • Hi

    is there any update?

    thanks !!
