CC2640R2F: Command Line Interface Issue

If you use COM5 which means you want to use serial boot loader, you have to make sure your device enter serial boot loader. You probably need to do mass erase with Flash Programmer 2 before you do this.

Hi, I did the erase from flash programmer 2 but still persists the same error.

What is the baud rate to be set?

There is no need to set baud rate with srfprog. Do you following TER's suggestion to make device enter bootloader?

I feel that part is complex for me.

Where as If I use below command instead of  C:\>srfprog -t soc(COM5, CC2640R2F) -e -p -v -f d:\test.hex

C:\>srfprog -t lsidx(0) -e all -p -v -f d:\test.hex

I can able to program the device.

Only part is confusing here is how can I distinguish two different ports/devices using this command.

You can specify xds number when you use srfprog

I am specifying 

C:\>srfprog -t lsidx(0) -e all -p -v -f d:\test.hex ------for 1 detected board and

C:\>srfprog -t lsidx(1) -e all -p -v -f d:\test.hex-------for other detected board (both programmer XDS 110 and both devices CC2640R2F)

but hex file is getting loaded in only 1 chip.

I understand Flash programmer GUI can only be used to program 1 chip at a time where as CLI can be used to program multiple chips at a time.

Please help !!

Why do you believe that the CLI can program more than one target a a time? 

Because I read CLI can be used in production.

(In production you have to program multiple boards at a time ).

And if not,then why do we have command in CLI which shows how many boards are connected to which COM ports ?

Correct me if I am wrong !!

Do you have a link to where you read this? I have always assumed that this tool can only be used for serial programming but it could be that I'm wrong.
