CC2642R: Custom CC2642R design not working

Hi Terry.

What software stack are you using? The CC2642R only supports BLE, so if you try to use another stack on this device, it will not work.

Hello. There should not be any differences between the two devices for ToF so yes, it should work. Please provide more detail on how it "doesn't work."

Thanks for your quick response.

We are using ble5stack sample code to test

C:\ti\simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_3_30_00_03\examples\rtos\CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL\ble5stack\simple_peripheral

We did replace  the ti dev board Cc26x2R1 ‘s Soc from cc2652r to cc2642r . The development board with soc CC2642R also not working.

Hi Terry.

To understand you better: Your code works on a unmodified LAUNCHXL-CC26X2 with a CC2652R on it, but when you hand solder a CC2642 to the same launchpad, it does not work?

When you say it does not work, what do you mean? Are you able to get a connection to the device through the debugger? Are you able to debug the code?

Have you tried to run a simple example on the CC2642, to test if you are able to actually transmit data, like simple_peripheral?
