CCS/LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: Not able to read memory in uniflash || On-chip OAD issue

Hi,

I am working on cc2642 and for that, I am using LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1.

I am using the below IDE and SDK.

- CCS 9.2.0

- simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_3_30_00_03

I am having the following queries.

1) Not able to read the memory of LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 using uniflash Version: 5.2.0.2519, getting the bellow error.

-> I tried with an older version also facing the same issue.

2) For the On-chip OAD process, I am using a simple link starter mobile app.

-> I flashed simple_peripheral_oad_onchip_app_CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs using ccs

and I am able to see OAD service on a mobile app but not able to perform any OAD reset or Strat OAD process.

-> Am I missing any step here?

-> but when I am press button on the app to process OAD I am not able to press it and it does not process further.

Please let me know if you need any further information from my side.

1) Did you try using SmartRF Flash Programmer?

2) What smart phone are you using? What is the version number of the app and os?

Please find my responses below

1) Did you try using SmartRF Flash Programmer?

-> No, I have not tried that yet I will try and let you know the result.

-> I am able to read memory using uniflash in other laptops on same hardware.

2) What smart phone are you using? What is the version number of the app and os?

-> I am using Redmi MI A1

-> App version:- 5.7.2

-> Android PI (Android 9)

However i am able to use app with all other example code and able to do OAD(using factory firmware)

and my simple link starter app is also updated to latest version.

Hi Rakesh,

For your question 1 I am happy SmartRF Studio works. If you want to investigate further why Uniflash doesn't work can you please open a new thread in the CCS forum?

2. Did you implement the OAD reset service in your custom image?

i am running the example code simple_peripheral_oad_onchip_app_CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs, in whoch OAD Reset service is already implemented.

Did you follow the software user's guide to program the OAD example into your device?
