  • Seems these are all Android phones. Can, you take BT snoop logs for working models and non working models to compare? Also, can you let us know the host processor, BT stack and service pack used with CC2564C?

    Thanks

  • The customer has sent to us the following logs. Those are related to the connection tests done with Samsung A8 by using nRF Connect App:

    1. “No Connection samsung a8 – nrf connect App bluetoothctl.jpg” - message log generated by using bluetoothctl with connection FAILED ;

    2. “Ok Connection samsung a8 – nrf connect App bluetoothctl.jpg” - message log generated by using bluetoothctl with connection OK;.

    3. “No Connection samsung a8 – nrf connect App Smartlocker.jpg” - message log generated by using Smartlocker with connection Failed;

    The host is a SOM Variscite Dart-6UL. The service pack has been download from the link below:

    http://www.ti.com/tool/CC256XC-BT-SP

    v 1.2. Now I've seen there is a new service pack (1.3).

    Thanks in advance for your support.

  • It appears, the connection parameter update is not getting accepted.. Did, you try with 'LightBlue' app?

    Also, can you please take the below logs:

    a) On the android device, take HCI snoop logs (settings/Developer options/Enable BT HCI snoop logs), using adb or otherwise extract the snoop logs and send across.

    b) BT FW logs on CC2564C to check connection parameter update messaging.

    Thanks

  • Hi Hari,

    the customerhas tried to upload the latest service pack you released in your website (v1.3).

    They confirmed the module is now able to establish the connection with all the smartphones under testing (the same models tested before, uploading the service pack v1.2,  with failure connection).

     Thanks for the helping. We can close the case.
