CCS/CC2642R: How to get BLE MAC address and device ID ?

Hi Ti exports,

In our planning, we need to read the CC2642R BLE MAC address and device id, then use the Bluetooth address or device id to advertising.

How do I read this information out in runtime?

Suppose we want to change the device id. How do we do it?

You can use the following codes to get CC2642R BLE MAC address but what do you mean device id?

Hi YK, I mean the device id is unique id that produced according the BLE MAC address. This device id can change by us ? Because in our case, we need to write the unique serial number in the production line.

BLE MAC address is unique but I still don’t know what you mean device id exactly. Can you point out where you refer to this device id?

Hi YK, Sorry, maybe I misunderstanding about the device id. How can I get the serial number of the CC2642R IC ? Can this serial number be changed to our production serial number ?

As I know, there’s no serial number. You can use BLE MAC address which is unique in every device. If you need your own custom BLE MAC address, you can use secondary BLE MAC address.
