Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

We are finding that we are running out of code space in flash memory.  Apparently there is nonvolatile ram (NVM) that we might be able to use to hold more code.  Is there a way to make part of the .out and .hex code to be downloaded to NVM, or are we restricted to downloading code to the size of the built in flash memory?
