CC2642R: How could the CC2642R and the F Antenna be the interface as capacitor and resistor?

To whom it may concern,

I am using the CC2642R IC and the F antenna model for my design. I would want to interface between the CC2642R and the F antenna model.

How could equipment values of C14 and R12 calculate according to the CC26x2REM-7ID document? The operation frequency of the F antenna is 2.4GHz.

What is the calculation method of these equipment values determine?

Ulvihan,

C14 is a 12pF DC blocking capacitor, which does not affect the matching. For DC blocking capacitors, you want to choose a capacitance value that will yield low reactance. So for this one, the capacitive reactance is:

Xc = 1/(2*pi*f*C) = 1/(2*pi*2.4E9*12E-12) = ~5.5Ohms.

R12 and C15 are provisions for antenna matching, if needed.
