Hi,

I am supporting a customer design from a compliance perspective and am wondering how we can setup a client device using the CC1352 for FCC certification testing.

We need a means to control the BLE radio and continiously transmit a modulated signal at certain frequencies.

What sort of provisions are provided in the SDK, is there some pre made testing projects where you just needt to setup the UART pins? Is there a test console program that we can connect through UART to USB to our laptop? I'm very familiar with Nordic's tools but less familiar with TI.

Can you connect RF Studio through a UART?

I suppose you can use SmartRF Studio to do such test.

Hi Tim,

As YiKai said, you can use SmartRF Studio, this requires JTAG interface, but is very simple to set up and handle by the test lab.

Alternatively, you can use the HCI test commands found in the BLE Stack, HCI_EXT_EnhancedModemTestTxCmd() for example. These commands can be sent to the device through UART from BTool if you program the CC1352P with the HostTest project.
