Hi,
We are testing spurious emissions on Launchpad with @20 dBm, BLE Packet Transfer at 125kbps. We are seeing out of range emissions at the following two frequencies. We are doing conducted tests at SMA connector:
3.58725GHz | -28.89dBm |
1.29497GHz | -17.54dBm |
Pls check and let us know if there is something wrong.

Ashish
Hi,
Are you using LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-2 ?
Which market are you targeting with 20 dBm output at 2.4 GHz ?
Please provide a plot of your spectrum since the frequencies you mention are not the standard frequencies we normally see spurs.
Regards,
Richard
HI,
We are using LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-2
For UK market
I had requested plot from lab,it will take 2-3 day for getting report.
Regards,
Ashish
Hi
Please find attached plots provided by lab ,observed on launchpad.
There are 2 folders one is for above 1GHz and another for below 1GHz.
We have taken observation for 10dbm,16dbm and 20dbm setting

Ashish

Hi Abish,
In Europe (ETSI), we cannot have greater than 10 dBm EIRP at 2.4 GHz. Therefore, you must reduce the output power to pass ETSI standards.

Richard
Hi Richard,
We observed spurious emission on launch pad at 10dbm(2.4GHZ) for 192MHz which is concern for us in conducted SE test. Results already shared in this E2E post

Ashish
Hi,
What is your antenna gain since this has to be reduced from the conducted output power limit.
If you antenna gain is 4 dBi, then in order to pass Power Spectral Density Tests that has 10.0 dBm limit, the output power would have to be reduced to 6 dBm for Europe.
We did not see any failures at 192 MHz when we tested at the regulatory house with the LaunchPad.
Regards,
Richard
We are not using antenna in module.Antenna will be in product and we will set power accordingly.
Which method is used to Spurious test Radiated or conducted? Please share test report.
As module don't have antenna its compliance will done through conducted port.
Regards,
Ashish
Hi,
Both conducted and radiated tests must be performed.
If you are using an external antenna; then you have to take this into account.
i.e. maximum output power from module = maximum conducted output power limit minus the gain of the external antenna.

Richard
