Hi Team,

While going through the hardware design of the cc256xc qfnem module , we observed that BPF is placed in reverse direction(input of BPF is towards the antenna side), which is against the data's in the design files. Is there any specific reason for that. Will that help in the RF performance.

This is correct and not reversed. According to the LFB212G45SG8C341 datasheet, pin4 is the input and pin2 is the output.

Thanks Seong,

I gone through those things. What I am saying is about the implementation in the cc256xcqfn-em module. In that the placement of BPF is in reverse direction than what it suggested in the datasheet. That is the point I need to get cleared about.

- That depends on what you define as in and out. Is the the antenna the source (input) or is the chip the source? I don't know the main reason for adding a BPF in this module but if it's to filter the output of the chip than the orientation makes sense

- As I read the datasheet for this BPF I would assume that the part is symmetrical meaning that S21 and S12 is equal.
