CC2564MODA: Can we use AVRCP profile independantly to handle music management

Hello,

I am using bluetopia stack. I want to implement an application which handles music player on mobile. I want to use AVRCP profile to control music like (Play, pause, next track, previous track). For this commands i need to know the music track status whether it is currently running or paused.

Is it possible with AVRCP profile alone to get music status and take action on it? I do not want to use A2DP.

Hello,

Apologies for the delay. According to BT spec the only dependency AVRCP has is GAP. So to answer your question it should be possible but we don't offer an example with only AVRCP since it is unusual to use without A2DP.
