CC2564: Bluetooth 4.2

Hi.

Is it feasible to load a Bluetooth stack that is 4.2 compliant, into an MSP430, to use with a CC2564RVMT?

We have legacy hardware using the above controller and we're investigating options to achieve Bluetooth 4.2 without a hardware change.

Is it even possible?

    Hi Nick,

    What MSP430 are you trying to use? CC2564B devices are compliant upto BT 4.1 and we have SW for certain MSP430 devices. More details on MSP430 requirements to use with CC2564B here. Our CC2564C devices are BT 4.2 compliant but no SW packages for MSP430 device - just MSP432 and STM. Is MSP430 a requirement?
