CCS/CC2640R2F: Can i use cc2640r2f as a transmitter and cc26x2 board as the receiver?

Hi,

I am using the sdk 3.40.00.02 : http://www.ti.com/tool/download/SIMPLELINK-CC13X2-26X2-SDK. I am trying to use cc2640r2f as the RTLS_SLAVE and cc26x2 board as the RTLS_MASTER? Can i make the setup work? if not, are they changes that i should make?

Hi,

Your setup is not correct and will not work.

> You can use one CC2640R2 as slave only if you also have one master and one passive

> If you want to use only two boards (i.e. master and slave) you have to use two CC26X2R1

Please note that it is highly recommended to chose CC26X2R1 to develop an RTLS solution
