Hello,

I need to use a bluetopia stack on stm32h750 (cortex m7),

but all the provided examples and libraries on ti.com are intended for M4 core.

Can we provide the stack for M7 core?

If no, what are the recommendation on how to port the existed stack to another platform?

Can we provide the sources for this purpose?

Hi,

Does the M7 STM32 part use Linux, or is it running with an RTOS?

The Bluetopia stack library code is closed, and we would need to recompile it for a new architecture. Users cannot do this themselves.

However, it seems like the libraries compiled for M4 should be compatible with the M7: https://developer.arm.com/docs/ddi0489/latest/programmers-model/instruction-set-summary/binary-compatibility-with-other-cortex-processors

Thus, no recompilation or porting should be needed to run the code compiled for the M4 architecture on the M7. Has your customer given that a try yet?

Hi Michael.

Customer doesn't use any OS.

Now customer ports the example from ti.com to STM32M7. He is going to check the M7 core with provided M4-library running.

Hi,

From the documentation provided by ARM it seemed like the libararies should work, but I have not personally tried it as I do not have an M7 device to test with.

Let me know what the customer encounters in the course of his porting effort.
