Hello

I am trying to run AOA development kit on my computer.

I installed RTLS MONITOR software, as well as http://www.ti.com/tool/download/SIMPLELINK-CC2640R2-SDK/3.10.00.15

I also set up the kit according to the attached photos. Could you please check them? On the RTLS Monitor screen, I press A, then Enter, then click on Connect, but It does not work and nothing is added to the graph or diagram. Actually, it seems that the kit is not detected by the software.

In the attache photos, you see that I have connected the CC2640R2 to the laptop USB ports. I also tried a power bank instead of the USB ports, but the results are the same.

Hi,

Can you use the latest SDK version (3.40) available?

If you absolutely have to use the SDK 3.10, please verify you are using the right version of the RTLS Monitor (0.9.3) - Do NOT use RTLS_Monitor_CC26X2 with CC2640R2.

I uninstalled what I had on my computer and installed RTLS Monitor 0.9.5 as well as simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_3_40_00_10,

but the problem remains. Could I know if there is anything else I can do?

Hi Shahriar,

SDK 3.40 cannot be used with RTLS Monitor. SDK 3.40 must be used with RTLS_UI (in tools\blestack\rtls_agent\rtls_ui).

Hi,

RTLS_UI is in your SDK in tools\blestack\rtls_agent\rtls_ui

Note: RTLS_UI has been removed from SDK 4.10

Hello Clément,

I am try to start the rtls_ui.exe (I am using SDK 4.10.00.78. yes, there is a rtls_ui folder inside rtls_agent) but it does not work. Is this the reason?

Hi,

SDK 4.10.00.78 is NOT a CC2640R2 SDK. You won't find RTLS_UI in CC2640R2 SDK 4.10 (BTW, the CC2640R2 SDK has version number 4.10.00.10).

On CC2640R2, RTLS support has been removed from SDK 4.10. Please migrate to CC26X2R if you want to use RTLS with SDK 4.10 or latter.
