LMX9830: Peer to peer configuration data transfer on field using BT technology

Hi,

We have planned to use BT to configure a device on field. That is a peer to peer communication is expected for configuration data transfer on field.

Is LMX9830 is the right choice for this application. Any reference design available for the same.

Unfortunately the LMX9830 is not recommended for new designs (NRND).

Hi,

CC2564MODACMOG is recommended TI part for BT technology.

Hi,

I understand that, in this solution the BT stack runs on the SoC (CC2564MODx) and the application runs on an external microcontroller (we would like to have flexibility in choice of microcontroller).

That is we expect the application running on the external controller to send BT commands over UART, set up a Bluetooth device to accept connections, connect to a remote Bluetooth device, and communicate over Bluetooth. please confirm.

Is there any application note available for the same? any reference link would be really appreciated.

Just a slight correction to the above, the BT stack actually runs on the external MCU or MPU(Linux stack is available). TI supports the Bluetopia stack, but other 3rd party stacks could also be used. We recommend the CC2564C device, however if you are needing a module the CC2564B is offered in a module. See:
