CC2640R2F: BLE coexistence feature with Wi-Fi module

Hi TI Team,

We have selected CC3235MODSF Dual band Wi-Fi module for our new product design. We required BLE-5.0 to be included in the same board.

Since Wifi and BLE works at 2.4GHZ spectrum, There will a interference of signals and hence degradation of signals.

So came to know about Radio coexistence technology to adopt.

Hence Please share us, which is the best BLE module for this application to support Wifi-2.4GHZ and BLE-5.0 on the same board.

Most of the chinese products they have implemented both Wifi and BLE in the same in a small PCB.

Kindly help us to select proper component.

Note : If TI doesn't have module, then request you to share hardware design files for balun circuit for antenna.

Hi Manjunath,

The Coexistence is supported on all BLE chips in the CC13x2 and CC26x2 device family. I would recommend the CC2642R device.

Hi Marie,

CC2642R is MCU Chip, don't you have Module(to avoid balun circuit external).

The datasheet doesn't contain anything on the antenna, and also in the reference CAD files they have mention on the Onboard PCB antenna.

Our application demands external PCB antenna and optional Chip antenna.

Is the balun circuit mentioned is same for external antenna also.

Can you share the CAD files for external antenna for reference.

Currently we don't have RF Engineers to analyse.

Need your help.

and also what is the distance of separation b/w CC3235 and CC2642R ?
