Hello team, my customer needs to configure BTOOL (it's most recent version) in peripheral mode. Do we have a step-by-step guide on how to do that?

Raul Matos

Hi Raul,
I've assigned your post to an expert to help you with your question.
Hi,
I am not aware of such a guide. However, you can follow the suggestions provided in this thread.
Best regards,
Clément, thank you for your reply.
I was aware of that post, it is from 2012 however and the same configuration cannot be found on the most recent release, according to my customer.
Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Hi,
It's true the commands have change name. I recommend the following (tested with CC26X2 only):
HCIExt_ResetSystemCmd()
GAP_DeviceInit() ==> with peripheralProfileRole enabled
GapAdv_create() ==> using default parameters
GapAdv_enable() ==> using the handle returned by GapAdv_create() [0x00 in my case]
I hope this will help,
