question about interfacing CC2560 with Android phone

Hi guys, I'm working on a school project sponsored by TI and I was wondering if I can get some help? My team needs to wirelessly send data from a microcontroller to an Android phone. My team was thinking about using the EZ430 RF2560 to interface with the phone. My team was wondering if we can forgo the USB stick and just directly communicate to the Android phone from the target board using bluetooth. If so, is there any documentation on how to do this? Example code? Appreciate any help
