Hi Team,

A customer wants to confirm if CC2642R can support music streaming from a mobile phone? Also, he wants to clarify whether it has support for AVRCP profile or any profile which is equivalent to AVRCP?

Basically, AVRCP and mobile phone music streaming is based on Bluetootch classic and CC2642R is a BLE SOC which cannot support Bluetooth classic. For AVRCP and mobile phone music streaming, I would suggest you to use CC2564.

Dear Danilo,

YK Chen is correct. CC2642R is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device and does not support the classic Bluetooth Basic Rate / Enhanced Data Rate (BR/EDR) that is needed to stream audio.
