LMX9830: Transmit power

Hi,

In section 7.8 of LMX9830SM datasheet regarding the RF transmitter performance characteristics shows the power..
It shows minimum (-4 dBm ) and maximum as (+3 dBm). And typical be 0 dBm.
Can you let me know, how they are doing this?

If I want to do RF test mode as mentioned in the LMX9830 software user guide, what will be the default power level.
Is it possible to change the power level as given in shared snapshot.

Hi Ajeesh,

I am not exactly sure how this spec is measured, but it looks like it should be the output power measured at the antenna.

I would expect the default power level to be based on the specification.

I do not see any snapshot. Perhaps it did not make it into the post?

Please have a look on the screen shot.

Kindly let me know how they are varying the power from -4 to +3 dBm.

Also let me know the default power level.

Ajeesh,

The spec states that the power level will be within that range for any given device across fabrication processes. The default power level will be within that range.

I would expect the power level to be the same for the RF test mode.
