CC2642R-Q1: SmartRF Studio - congiure it in proprietary way and not only BLE?

Hi,

My customer needs to use BLE solution. He is now considering CC2640R2F-Q1.

I also tried to propose CC2642R-Q1 instead of CC2640R2F-Q1 but it seems that there is not enough support on SmartRF Studio for CC2642R-Q1 – there is no proprietary support, it only gives the possibility of being configured only in BLE and not proprietary.

Could you please give me a tip on this customer question? Please write me in private if needed.

    Hi,

    CC2642 devices does not support proprietary RF. You have to select a CC2652 device in order to support proprietary RF.

    As of today, TI does not offer CC2652R-Q1 devices (CC2652R product's page for details).
