BOOSTXL-AOA: About the some question for Direction Finding feature

Part Number: BOOSTXL-AOA

I have found some TI Bluetooth model to have support AoA/AoD (CTE) feature on the website. I have some question need to check:

1. These Bluetooh models that support AoA/AoD (CTE) feature had qualification the Bluetooth SIG? (Include controller and host)

2. These Bluetooth models that support AoA/AoD (CTE) feature had ready to AoA/AoD (CTE) feature in the host-test app? (Direct Test Mode for for RF-PHY conformance testing)

3. Following the above question, if not support now, what time plans to publish (for DTM app for the AoA/AoD)?

Thanks

  • Hi,

    1. TI provides a BLE5.1 certified stack for CC2642R and CC2652R. CC2642R and CC2652R have the CTE feature. Only AOA is available. AOD is not available

    2. This feature is not yet available

    3. I cannot comment on TI road map on a public forum. Please contact your local sales teams to address this question

    Best regards,

  • Thanks for your reply.

These models ( CC2642R and CC2652R. CC2642R and CC2652R) will support the AOD feature and DTM in the future?
