CC2564MODA: No response from the bluetooth device

Part Number: CC2564MODA
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2564

Hi,

I am trying to integrate the CC2564MODA module with the iMX6ULL processor. Processor is booted with Yocto environment. I am trying to access the bluetooth device in 3wire mode (Tx, Rx, GND).

I have copied "TIInit_6.7.16.bts" in two locations "/lib/firmware/" and "/lib/firmware/ti-connectivity/".

I have used the following hciattach commands to communicate with the bluetooth device, but it always responding as "Initialization timed out."

root@imx6ull14x14evk:~# hciattach /dev/ttymxc3 texas 115200 noflow
Initialization timed out.
root@imx6ull14x14evk:~#
root@imx6ull14x14evk:~# hciattach /dev/ttymxc3 texas 3000000 noflow
Initialization timed out.
root@imx6ull14x14evk:~#
root@imx6ull14x14evk:~# hciattach -s 115200 /dev/ttymxc3 texas 115200 noflow
Initialization timed out.
root@imx6ull14x14evk:~#
root@imx6ull14x14evk:~# hciattach -s 115200 /dev/ttymxc3 texas 3000000 noflow
Initialization timed out.
root@imx6ull14x14evk:~#
root@imx6ull14x14evk:~# hciattach -s 3000000 /dev/ttymxc3 texas 3000000 noflow
Initialization timed out.

I probed the Tx and Rx lines and I found some signal activity in Tx line from the processor and no activity in the Rx line. So there is no response from the bluetooth module. I also check the nSHUTD pin status, its in High state only. I have also attached the Tx signal snapshot in this thread.

Could you please help to solve this issue?

Regards,
Gaudam
