CCS/LP-CC2652RB: Battery monitoring of battery powered cc2652 embedded device

Hello all,

I am developing a battery (NiMH) powered CC2652 based system.
This controller has inbuilt battery monitor as mentioned in its datasheet, is it possible to monitor the remaining battery status of the embedded device using this IC or i have to use a separate battery monitoring IC.

It's possible. You can find the details of the module in the "Battery Monitor and Temperature Sensor" chapter in and the spec of the module in the "Battery Monitor" section in the datasheet ()

Based on this information you have to evaluate if the module has the functionality and accuracy you need for your application.

Okay thanks, do u know of any code example in ccs which i can use to see the battery status.

Have you looked into syscfg? (https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?node=AIouI6g4ejAMCyOe10iMKQ__pTTHBmu__LATEST) In this tool it should be fairly easy to add a second UART.
