Hi Team,

As for CC2640R2F software debug, my customer has several questions to ask:

1. Is it necessary to usethe XDS100 emulator for the software programming of the module? Can it be realized directly via UART?

2. Can customer use JTAG tools from other brands,such as ST's JTAG? Or customer can only use TI-specific tools?

3. The 24MHz and 32KHz crystals did not work, and there was no frequency output. Is it normal? Do I need to burn the software to work?

    Hi Amelie,

    1. It's possible to program the device through the ROM bootloader (via UART). Please see the Technical Reference Manual. Please note this is more time consuming than using a debugger.

    2. We support third party debuggers such as I-Jet and J-Link.

    3. I don't understand the question. Can you please explain in more detail.
