CC2642R: Switching the source of SCLK_HF during running the WDT

My customer who is using the CC2642R would like to start/kick the WDT from start-up process before switching the source of SCLK_HF by the PowerCC26XX_switchXOSC_HF(). What the WDT counter behave in this case? and please let me know if this is not recommendation process.

Hi Nona,

What is the use-case? The user is free to start/kick the WDT when ever he/she wants to, the HF clock source does not matter. The WDT would tick on the current active HF source (if it is not the XOSC then it is the RCOSC) and it does not care if you swap between them.

What is worth considering is that the WDT will halt when in standby as it will get clock gated by the device.
