CC2540EMK-USB: CC2541 Mini Kit

Can you give me the reference? Where i can download it?

I attached CC2540_USBdongle_HostTestRelease_All.hex which is HostTest for CC2540EMK-USB for your reference. You can download the hex file using CC-Debugger and Flash Programmer to test it.with BTool.

Try to download and install BLE-Stack 1.5.1 and use  CC2540_USBdongle_HostTestRelease_All.hex under C:\Texas Instruments\BLE-CC254x-1.5.1 install folder\Accessories\HexFiles\

I installed C:\Texas Instruments\BLE-CC254x-1.5.1.1. How to use it? Flush programming? I don't see the board.

Yes, you need to connect your CC2540EMK-USB with CC Debugger and use Flash Programmer to download the hex image into your CC2540EMK-USB.

I only see CC Debugger, not the dongle. How will do updated dongle?

It already show chip is CC2540 in your screenshot so it will download the hex into your CC2540 when you press “Perform actions” button.

No. My screenshot shows the CC Debugger not  dongle. Debugger also chip CC2540.

To updated the driver I need the file to replace it. I tried many drivers including C:\Texas Instruments\BLE-CC254x-1.5.1.1\Accessories\Drivers and C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\Drivers, none worked. The only driver cebal2_x64.sys I found on both directories is work.

My question about BTool.

My problem is to use the wrong driver for dongle. Dongle driver is automatically  installed. The driver is cebal2_x64.sys and this driver go to Cebal controlled devices in Devices Manager. There is no COM port.

Do you download CC2540_USBdongle_HostTestRelease_All.hex into your CC2540EMK-USB?

To use flash programmer to download firmware to CC2540EMK-USB, you can refer to CC2540 USB Evaluation Kit Quick Start Guide.

How I do it, if i don't see the dongle in Flush programming?

Do you connect CC Debugger to your CC2540EMK-USB? Do you refer to quick start guide? Can you take a picture to show me how you connect everything?

The dongle and debugger are connect in the same PC just different ports.

You should select "Program CCxxxx SoC or MSP430". There is screenshot in quick start guide.

Yes, it’s normal to see red LED turn in when you use CC2541EMK-USB. For your smartphone and iPad, do you mean to see them to be scanned and listed on BTool scan results?

I have a lot of devices. How do identify the devices that are on the list?

Which one is Keyfob?
