CC2652R: SysConfig cannot enable Bootloader setting

Hi team,

I use CC13x2_CC26x2 SDK 4.20. I try to enable Bootloader by SysConfig. However, the ccfg.c doesn't include the modification.
Please clarify if SysConfig can modify for Bootloader. How SysConfig generate & modify relating code ?

To modify bootloader settings, go to "TI Devices -> Device Configuration" in syscfg. The changes you do here will end in ti-devices-config.c. Hi TER,

I cannot find ti-devices-config.c (in my CCS workspace). I only see ti_drivers_config.c. Do you mean this file ?

After I enable bootloader setting in syscfg (TI Devices -> Device Configuration"), I don't see any Bootloader setting in ti_drivers_config.c .

Hi TER,

I use HostTest project (under (c:\ti\simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_4_20_00_35\examples\rtos\CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL\ble5stack\host_test\). There is no this file.

Why do you need bootloader using host test? My understanding is that host test is only flashed into a few devices for certification use?

Hi TER,

For AP router customer, they will base on Host_Test example to do some modification.

Is there any problem to enable Bootloader for Host_Test ?

Hi Jerry,

Unfortunately the host_test project is not updated for configuring the CCFG using SysConfig yet. If you would like to enable the bootloader define (SET_CCFG_BL_CONFIG_BOOTLOADER_ENABLE), you can do so in the Startup/ccfg_app_ble.c file.
